Ingredients

  • 4 ounces linguine pasta
  • 2 - chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 - green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 - mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 - green onion, minced
  • 1-1/2 cup light cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

How To Make cajun pasta w/ chicken

  • Step 1
    Cook linguine as directed, drain. Place chicken and cajun seasoning in bowl, stir to coat. Melt butter in lg skillet, over medium heat.
  • Step 2
    Saute chicken for 5 mins. Add green and red bell peppers, mushrooms and green onion. Cook, stirring for 3 mins. Reduce heat to med-low. Add cream, season w/ basil, lemon-pepper, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Heat through. In lg bowl, toss pasta w/ sauce. Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese.
