Ingredients

  • 4 oz
    linguine pasta
  • 2
    chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small
    red bell pepper, chopped
  • 4
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1
    green onion, minced
  • 1-1/2 c
    light cream
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp
    lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Cajun pasta w/ chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook linguine as directed, drain. Place chicken and cajun seasoning in bowl, stir to coat. Melt butter in lg skillet, over medium heat.
  2. Saute chicken for 5 mins. Add green and red bell peppers, mushrooms and green onion. Cook, stirring for 3 mins. Reduce heat to med-low. Add cream, season w/ basil, lemon-pepper, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  3. Heat through. In lg bowl, toss pasta w/ sauce. Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese.
