Ingredients

  • 4 - boeless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 - 8 ounce can pineapple tidbits unsweetened, undrained
  • 8 ounces no salt added tomatoe sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soysauce
  • 2 tablespoons sherry
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 cups cooked rice no salt or fat

How To Make asian chicken with pineapple

  • Step 1
    Cut chicken into bite size pieces. allow large skillet non stick to heat medium high heat 2 miutes. melt butter in skillet; add chicken, and stir fry 4 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned. stir in vegetables; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes ot till vegetables are crisp tender.
  • Step 2
    Drain pineapple tidbits, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. set pineapple aside. combine the reserved pineapple juice and remaining ingrediants except rice; pour over chicken mixture. cook until mixture is slightly thickened.
  • Step 3
    Combine rice and pieapple. Serve chicked mixture over pineapple rice mixture. serve
