  • 1 medium
  • 2 small
  • 11/2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1/2 c
    rice, cooked or use minute rice
  • 1 c
    velvetta cheese
  • 1/2 c
    cornflakes or bread crumbs
  • ·
    salt & pepper , to taste
  • 1 dash(es)
    oregano, dried
  • 6 oz
    tomato paste
  • 3 c
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar

How to Make Zucchini casserole


  1. Brown meat slightly. Slice zucchini and onions
  2. With a casserole dish. Layer ' zucchini , onions , meat, rice
  3. Top with cheese, crumb mixture, and spices
  4. Mix tomatoe paste , water,sugar in a bowl. Pour liquids all atop entire casserole.
  5. Bake at 325, 90minutes. Mmm
  6. I dice the onions. And coarse ly grate or chop zucchini. Use Parmesan in mine and mozzarella ( sometimes fresh rather than grated stuff) I look at this alot as a Parmesan dish- a la chicken Parma , eggplant Parma .....
