Delicious!! Like a lighter pAmersan casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 2 small onion
  • 11/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup rice, cooked or use minute rice
  • 1 cup velvetta cheese
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes or bread crumbs
  • - salt & pepper , to taste
  • 1 dash oregano, dried
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

How To Make zucchini casserole

  • Step 1
    Brown meat slightly. Slice zucchini and onions
  • Step 2
    With a casserole dish. Layer ' zucchini , onions , meat, rice
  • Step 3
    Top with cheese, crumb mixture, and spices
  • Step 4
    Mix tomatoe paste , water,sugar in a bowl. Pour liquids all atop entire casserole.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 325, 90minutes. Mmm
  • Step 6
    I dice the onions. And coarse ly grate or chop zucchini. Use Parmesan in mine and mozzarella ( sometimes fresh rather than grated stuff) I look at this alot as a Parmesan dish- a la chicken Parma , eggplant Parma .....
