my easy taco pie

I have several recipes for taco pie, but this one I made reduced fat since I am trying to lose weight. It tastes wonderful with 1/2 the fat and calories of traditional tcao pie.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated reduced fat crescent rolls
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 - onion, dices fine
  • 2 cups reduced fat, shredded mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce, found near the ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons dry taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make my easy taco pie

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375. Lightly spray a 9x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. Unroll 1 can crescent rolls. Press gently into bottom of pan.
  • Step 2
    Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray, place over medium heat. Cook ground turkey and onion until turkey is browned. Stir in cheese and remaining 4 ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Stir and cook for a few minutes. Unroll remaining crscent roll dough onto lightly floured surface. Press perforations to seal. Shape dough into lg rectangle. Cut dough into 1" strips. Arrange strips in lattice design over taco mix in pan. Bake about 20 mins, or until light golden brown. Serve w/ sour crea, taco sauce or salsa.
