country style scalloped potatoes and ham

This is from my Mom's old Fannie Farmer cookbook from the 1960's. I adapted it for the crockpot. Super easy and very good.

Ingredients
- 2 - large russet potatoes, sliced thin
- 1/2 - large sweet onion, chopped
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 pound cooked ham, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- - flour
- - salt
- - pepper
- - milk
How To Make country style scalloped potatoes and ham

Step 1melt 2T butter in bottom of crockpot

Step 2layer 1/3 of the sliced potatoes, 1/3 of the chopped onion, 1/3 of the shredded cheese in crockpot.

Step 3Sprinkle flour, salt, pepper and 2T butter over 1st layer

Step 4repeat layering all of the above for a total of 3 layers

Step 5add enough milk until you see the milk show through the top layer.

Step 6Heat on high in crockpot until the milk simmers, then reduce to low for 6 hours
