I have had this recipe for over 35 years. I never have figured why they are called spoonburgers, but they really are good.

Ingredients
- - 1 lb. ground beef
- - 1/2 cup chopped onion
- - 1/2 cup chopped celery
- - 1 tablespoon flour
- - 1 cup tomato ketchup
- - 1/4 cup chili sauce
- - 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
- - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- - 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
How To Make spoonburgers

Step 1Preheat large skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes. Add ground beef and brown for about 5 minutes.

Step 2Add onion and celery and saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in flour.

Step 3Add ketchup, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and chili powder. Stir to combine.

Step 4Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 5Spoon mixture onto toasted buns and serve.
