frozen tator tots ( get the extra crispy)
very lean ground beef
jar salsa con queso/cheese sauce, heated in microwave
several green onions finely chopped
How to Make Tator Tot Nacho Supreme
1Prepare the tator tots as directed on the package. I like very crispy so I baked them to very crispy.
2While the tots are baking, fry the bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside to cool. Only leave about 1 Tbls of bacon grease in pan.
3Add the onion and garlic to pan. Cook over medium heat until softened.
4Add the beef and stir to mix. Once the beef is no longer pink, add all the dry ingredients
5Cook to incorporate. I cooked about 15 mins on very low heat (simmer)
6Once the tots are done, transfer them to a platter. Top with the seasoned beef, salsa con queso, salsa, guacamole, sour cream and green onions
7Crumble the bacon over the top and serve immediatly.
