To my loving husband who loves to try new flavors like me.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Who needs tortilla chips when you can use tater tots for nachos?! These are amazingly delicious. There is tons of flavor in every bite. The seasoning in the meat pairs well with all the toppings. We think salsa con queso adds just enough heat and cheesy goodness. We could not stop eating these tots. Serve as a meal or game day snack. Everyone will thank you!

How To Make tater tot nacho supreme

  • Baking tater tots in the oven.
    Step 1
Prepare the tater tots as directed on the package. I like very crispy so I baked them to very crispy.
  • Frying bacon in a skillet.
    Step 2
While the tots are baking, fry the bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside to cool. Only leave about 1 Tbsp of bacon grease in the pan.
  • Sauteeing onions and garlic.
    Step 3
Add the onion and garlic to pan. Cook over medium heat until softened.
  • Browning ground beef.
    Step 4
Add the beef and stir to mix.
  • Salt, pepper, and spices added to the browned beef.
    Step 5
Once the beef is no longer pink, add all the salt, pepper, and other spices. Cook to incorporate. I cooked for about 15 mins on very low heat (simmer).
  • Seasoned beef, queso, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, green onions, and crumbled bacon on tater tots.
    Step 6
Once the tots are done, transfer them to a platter. Top with the seasoned beef, queso, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and green onions. Crumble the bacon over the top and serve immediately.
