sweet and sour roast
Got this recipe from a Southern Living magazine many years ago. It is practically foolproof and tastes great, and clean up is a breeze. Hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 1 - 4 pund eye of round roast
- 2 - medium onions thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
How To Make sweet and sour roast

Step 1In a large Dutch oven, brown the roast on all sides in the oil

Step 2Add the onions and other ingredients, cover and bake at 300 for three hours or until tender, turning occasionally.
