Stuffed Pepper Cups

I have made this recipe and it is tasty. I just love the older recipes minus the calorie reduce ingredients. Enjoy!
Ingredients

·6 medium green peppers

·1 lb ground beef

·1/3 cup of chopped onions

·1-16 oz can tomatoes, cut up (or 14 oz-19 oz can)

·1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice

·1 tsp worchestershire sauce

·1 cup shredded sharp processed cheese
How to Make Stuffed Pepper Cups
- Cut off tops of green pepper; remove seeds and membrane
- scallop edges (optional)
- Precook peppers in boiling salted water 5 minutes; drain (for crisp peppers omit precooking)
- Sprinkle inside of peppers generously with salt
- Brown meat with onion. Add 1/2 tsp salt and dash of pepper
- Stir in tomatoes. rice. and a 1/2 cup water, and Worchestershire sauce
- Cover; simmer 15 minutes; stir in cheese
- Stuff peppers
- Place stuffed peppers in a 10x6x1 1/2 inch baking dish
- Bake at 350F 20-25 minutes
- Serves 6
