Ingredients
- 6 large cabbage leaves
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 - egg
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs seasoned
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- - salt/pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large tomato sauce, italian seasoned
- 1/4 cup red wine
How To Make stuffed cabbage italian style

Step 1gently peel 6 layers of leaves from cabbage head...cut out the hard stem part, place in a large bowl of hot water while you prepare the filling.

Step 2in a bowl, combine beef with rest of the ingredients, except the tomato sauce, olive oil & wine.

Step 3In a large pot pour the entire can of tomato sauce..put on low

Step 4meanwhile take each now soften cabbage leaves...divide the meat filling in six portions and fill each leaf...roll and place in sauce, drizzle with olive oil and red wine....simmer about 30 mins....delicious...serve with rice or pasta
