  • 1 lb
    top sirloin steak cut into 4 pieces
  • 2 slice
    maple smoked bacon, cooked
  • 4 Tbsp
    bacon drippings
  • 4 Tbsp
  • 1 can(s)
    15oz diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 c
  • 1/4 c
    dry red wine
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Sirloin Bites With Tomato Bacon Gravy


  1. Heat a skillet with bacon drippings on medium heat. While you're waiting salt and pepper steak pieces on both sides.
  2. Brown meat on all sides. Remove from skillet.
  3. Add flour to skillet and cook until golden brown.
  4. Add tomatoes with juice, water, and wine. Stir to combine. Add crumbled bacon. Return steaks to pan and cook on medium low heat 35 to 40 minutes. Stir frequently and add more water if needed.
