How To Make school house hamburger gravy
-
Step 1Place hamburger and onion in a large skillet. Crumble and cook over medium high heat; add Worcestershire sauce, cook until evenly browned. Remove from heat and sprinkle flour over cooked hamburger. Stir until evenly coated and all the fat is absorbed.
-
Step 2Place skillet over medium heat; add half the milk and stir until gravy is thicken . Add remaining milk until desired consistency has been reached and gravy comes to a boil Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
-
Step 3Note: Sometimes I like to add a can of mushroom soup to this or a can of peas undrained. Great over waffles too!
