I make chili many different ways, but this is my favorite go to recipe that I learned from my grandmother Swecker. She never wrote it down, I just watched her make it and paid attention to detail. I have changed it a bit over the years.

cook time 2 Hr
method Stove Top

  • 2 - 14.5 oz of fire roasted tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons medium heat chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small bag of pinto beans cooked or 4 cans rinsed
