Meat Loaf

Ingredients
-
1 lbground beef or chuck 93% lean
-
1 lbground turkey
-
2eggs
-
1 smalloinion chopped
-
3-4 pinchparsley (fresh is best but dried is ok)
-
1/4 cchopped celery
-
3-4 slicedried bread or equal amount in dried bread crumbs
-
1 can(s)12 oz tomato sauce
-
2-3 dash(es)salt
-
3-4 dash(es)ground black pepper
How to Make Meat Loaf
- Mix all ingredients by hand in large bowl until well blended.
- Put in casserole dish with lid and form with hands to flatten top and move loaf away from sides of dish.
- Bake at 425 degrees F 45 minutes, remove lid and bake another 15 minutes or so until top browns nicely.
- I serve with some kind of potatoes, mashed or boiled and a vegetable. I usually serve a green veggie, leafy or otherwise. Squirting a bit of ketchup on top of the meatloaf adds more zing to it if you so choose.
