From Mr Food. Nothing is more down-home than the wonderful flavors of backwoods country cooking, so it's only fitting that these Hillbilly Baked Beans are one of our most popular slow cooker potluck recipes. They can even be reheated on a grill for a smoky taste that can't be beat!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound ground chuck, cooked
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (i used kraft's honey)
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar (i used splends brown sugar)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1(15oz) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1(15.5) can butter beans, drained
  • 1(16oz) can can pork and beans, not drained
  • 3/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon

How To Make hillbilly baked beans

  • Step 1
    In a 5-quart slow cooker combine meat,onion, barbecue sauce,splenda brown sugar,and water. Mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients,cover and cook on low setting 6 hours or on high setting 4 hours. Serve immediately.
