Ingredients
- 4 pounds beef stew meat or venison, cubed and fat removed
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 bag baby carrots
- 6-8 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
- 2 - celery stalks, chopped
- 8 cups water
- 4 packages pioneer brown gravy mix
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make great beef stew!

Step 1Boil meat, onions and celery in water for 10 minutes. Add carrots, potatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer for 60-90 minutes. Remove 2 cups of broth and whisk in gravy mix then re-add to soup making sure there are no lumps. Let stand for 15 minutes and serve with cornbread.
