This recipe was given to me over 25 years ago by my daughters grandmother. It has always been a favorite comfort food for us and we love it! Please ENJOY!

Ingredients
- 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
- GRAVY INGREDIENTS
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 2 - packages of brown gravy mix
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chili sause
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons worcester sause
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- VEGETABLES TO ADD
- 1 bag small baby carrots
- 6-8 - russet or red potatoes, cut into pieces
- 1 - small onion, chopped into pieces
- 1 bag frozen peas
How To Make grams perfect pot roast

Step 1Sear the roast in pan of EVOO on Stove Top first

Step 2Mix all ingredients together, pour over meat in Roasting Pan or Crock Pot.

Step 3Crock Pot directions - Place carrots on bottom of pot, place meat on top and turn on Hi. Cook on Hi about 4 hours. Add Potatoes and let cook another 2 hours on Hi. Add Peas and cook on Low the remainder of time until meat is flaky and the potatoes and carrots are tender.

Step 4If cooking in oven; Cook at 325 degrees for 4 hours. After 2 hours add carrots, potatoes and onion. For last 30 minutes add the frozen peas.

Step 5Remove from heat and Serve! Delish!!!
