Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage
- 1 medium yellow onion, rough chop
- 1/2 small bell pepper, any color, chopped
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt & pepper
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 pound browned ground chuck, do not drain
- 2 cups cooked rice, white or brown
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes, small, regular sized can.
How To Make deconstructed stuffed cabbage
-
Step 1Brown Ground Chuck, if not too much grease, do not drain. The grease helps to flavor the dish. A 1/4 cup is good enough to leave in the pan.
-
Step 2Add the onions and peppers to pan and cook until tender, about 6-8 minutes Add the garlic and cook til tender, do not allow to burn, stir often.
-
Step 3Add the cabbage and cook until tender crisp, or to your liking. Then add the cooked rice and heat everything through. Add remaining ingredients and stir together well.
