Ingredients
- 2 pounds extra lean hamburger meat (96/4)
- 1 medium yellow onion or 3 tbsps of dried onions
- 3 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons lite brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
- 1 can 14.5 oz hunts no salt added diced tomatoes
- 2 cans 14.5 oz hunts no salt added tomatoe sauce
- 1 medium green bell pepper
How To Make daniel's low sodium / low calorie sloppy joes

Step 1Place Hamburger meat in a large Skillet with Garlic and Onions and cook over medium heat until browned.

Step 2Drain and grease from meat and discard

Step 3Add Diced Bell Pepper and simmer for 2 minutes stirring occasionally

Step 4Add Lite Brown Sugar, Worchestershire Sauce, Mustard, and stir in until mixed completely throughout

Step 5Drain juice from diced tomatoes and add to meat mixture stirring in completely

Step 6Add both cans of tomatoe sauce and stir completely until coated

Step 7Simmer for 20 minutes stirring ocasionally

Step 8Serve on a plain Hamburger Bun or for extra taste serve on a toasted hamburger bun
