Ingredients
- 1 - onion, cut into thick slices
- 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into 1"-pieces
- 12 ounces mushrooms, quartered
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 - 14-1/2 oz can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 3 pounds chuck roast, trimmed of fat
- 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
How To Make dads slow-cooked, tender pot roast

Step 1In slow-cooker, combine onion, carrots, mushrooms, garlic and tomatoes. In bowl, whisk together ketchup, mustard and worcestershire sauce.

Step 2Pour 1/2 the sauce over veggies. Sprinkle roast w/ salt and pepper. Place roast over veggies. Spread remaining sauce over roast. Cover, cook for 8 hrs.
