Ingredients

1onion, cut into thick slices
-
2 largecarrots, peeled and cut into 1"-pieces
-
12 ozmushrooms, quartered
-
4 tspminced garlic
-
114-1/2 oz can diced tomatoes, drained
-
1 cketchup
-
2 Tbspdijon mustard
-
2 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
3 lbchuck roast, trimmed of fat
-
1/4 tspeach salt and pepper
How to Make Dads slow-cooked, tender pot roast
- In slow-cooker, combine onion, carrots, mushrooms, garlic and tomatoes. In bowl, whisk together ketchup, mustard and worcestershire sauce.
- Pour 1/2 the sauce over veggies. Sprinkle roast w/ salt and pepper. Place roast over veggies. Spread remaining sauce over roast. Cover, cook for 8 hrs.
