This is my friend Lisa's amazing recipe. These ARE NOT your Momma's meatballs. LOL They are AMAZZZZZING. I am not big on meatballs normally but this recipe will have people begging for them!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef,
  • 6 1/2 oz
    evaporated milk
  • 1 c
    regular oatmeal
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • SAUCE

  • 2 c
    ketchup,
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar,
  • 2 Tbsp
    liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion

How to Make Convict Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all together and form into balls. Put in a 9"x13" pan. Mix ketchup,brown sugar,liquid smoke, garlic powder and chopped onion together and pour over meatballs. Bake 1 hour at 350. degrees.
