Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    boneless beef sirloin steak
  • 2 lb
    asparagus spears
  • ·
    cooking spray
  • 2 c
    sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red peppers
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, diagonally sliced
  • 1/2 c
    teriyaki sauce
  • 3 c
    cooked rice
  • ·
    sesame seeds

How to Make Beef and Asparagus Stir-Fry

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut steak into 1/8 inch thick slices, set aside.
  2. Snap off ends of asparagus and cup diagonally into 1 inch pieces.
  3. Coat large non-stick skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef; stir fry 5 minutes. Drain in colander, wipe drippings from skillet with paper towel.
  4. Re-coat skillet with cooking spray. Add asparagus, mushrooms, red pepper flakes, and green onions; stir fry 3 minutes. Return beef to pan. Add teriyaki; stir fry 1 minute.
