White Pizza Bagels Cass's

Cassie *

I came up with these crunchy, chewy Bagels last night. The kid's were wanting pizza, and I was out of pepperoni..So, I had a package of large bagels, and always have garlic. So, I thought white bagel pizza's. They were so easy to throw together, and soooooo good.

Crunchy on the bottom and still chewy ..I automatically had my kids approval after the first bite. They said I could make these anytime.

These would be good traditional style also..But, I had plenty of garlic and cheese and thought why not white pizza..

I hope you try them and like them as much as we do.

4 Tbsp
butter, melted
4 Tbsp
olive oil
1 tsp
garlic powder
4 clove
garlic, minced
1 pkg
( 8 ) large bagels, any kind would work. i usually buy the everything bagels.
2 - 3 c
shredded 4 cheese mozzarella, or whatever cheese you like. i used mozzarella to keep with the theme
shredded, romano or parmesan cheese
basil, oregano, parsley, hot pepper flakes

1Preheat oven to 400.

Assemble ingredients

Prepare baking pan with cooking spray and sprinkle with cornmeal lightly. I used two jelly roll pans.
2In a small bowl, mix melted butter with the olive oil, garlic powder and minced garlic, set aside.
3On your baking pan; place the separated bagels side by side. You may need 2 pans.
4With a pastry brush, spread liberal amounts of the garlic butter on each bagel.
5Sprinkle a pinch of basil, oregano, parsley on each bagel. Hot pepper flakes if desired.

Next add a layer of parmesan or romano cheese on each halve.
6Next add the mozzarella liberally. Daughter wanted mushrooms on hers.
7Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
8Serve with marinara. Or eat as is.

These were very filling. Crunchy, cheesy and chewy..Yum

These would be great to serve as an appetizer.

Use any toppings you desire. Like I said, I was keeping with the white pizza theme.
