1 pkg
refrigerated pizza crust dough
2 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1 c
shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
1
plum tomato, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
1/2 tsp
italian seasoning (optional)

How to Make Tomato Pizza Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1On a greased baking sheet, roll pizza crust into a 12in by 8in rectangle. Bake at 425 degrees for 6-8 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • 2Sprinkle with garlic, oregano and half of the cheese. Arrange tomato slices in a single layer over cheese. Top with remaining cheese and Italian seasoning if desired. Bake 6-8 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned.
  • 3*TIP*: A green salad, tossed with fresh vegetables and a tasty bottled Italian dressing, rounds out this pizza bread entree.
