spinach and turkey pepperoni pita pizza

Everyone loves pizza!! Having it delivered is wonderful and handy, but what really is going on or in it? This is a great way for a quick lunch or dinner that you can control the ingredients on, and make it how YOU want it for a fraction of the cost.

Ingredients

  • 1 - pita bread- kangaroo
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce (i make my own with hunts no salt tomato sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon yellow onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons diced fresh tomato
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, rough chop
  • 2 tablespoons low fat ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons shredded cheese
  • 3 slices hormel turkey pepperoni

How To Make spinach and turkey pepperoni pita pizza

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a baking sheet with non stick spray and lay down a pita bread. Top with 2 tbsp of the sauce and sprinkle half of the diced bell pepper, tomato,onion and chopped fresh spinach. Top the spinach with 4 (1/2 tbsp) dollaps and top with remaining veggies, pepperoni and cheese. Bake in the oven until cheese is melted and pita bread is crispy (about 18 minutes).
