This is on my Curves Complete Diet This is so yummy.
My family love it. You could cook it on the range top on medium heat. It will only take about 15 minutes after adding the macaroni to cook. I have done it both way. And it is still yummy either way you choice.
[For a serving size I used a Greek Yogurt 6 oz. Cup to measure the serving size.]

Ingredients

  • 3/4 tsp
    oil-olive
  • 6 oz
    sausage-italian
  • 1/3 medium
    yellow onions
  • 3 large
    carrots, chopped
  • 2 1/4 stalk(s)
    celery
  • 3/4 clove
    garlic
  • 2/4 tsp
    basil, fresh
  • 1/4 tsp
    rosemary sprigs
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper-red flakes
  • 10 oz
    chicken broth, low salt
  • 6 oz
    tomatoes- diced with juice
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans, canned
  • 1 oz
    macaroni, whole wheat (dry)

How to Make Pasta Sausage & Bean Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. 1. Remove casting from Italian sausage. Heat oil in a Large skillet over medium Heat. Add sausage and Sauté until beginning to brown, breaking up with back of spoon, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Dice onion, carrots and celery and mince garlic. And chopped vegetables, garlic, basil,rosemary and crush red peppers. Sauté until Vegetable begin to soften, about 10 minutes.
  3. 3 Add broth, tomatoes with their juices and beans.Bring to boil. Reduce heat and slimmer for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Pour Mixture into the big crock pot.
  5. 5. Add Macaroni to soup and stir. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Cover and cooked on low until you get home from work. Enjoy!
  6. 6. Tips:
    2 0z. Kidney Beans = 3 T
    1/2 oz. = 1/8 cup dry = 1/4 cup cooked whole wheat macaroni
