parmesan linguini with broccoli

One of my favorite veggies is broccoli and I mix it with pasta yum yum. Great Sunday dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 large cloves garlic,minced
  • 1/2 cup oil, divided
  • 1(10)oz. package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed (see note)
  • 1 pound linguini, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • - salt to taste

How To Make parmesan linguini with broccoli

  • Step 1
    1. In a very large skillet or Dutch oven saute garlic in 1/4 cup oil 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 2
    2. Add broccoli; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Reduce heat; add hot linguini and remaining 1/4 cup oil. Toss thoroughly.
  • Step 3
    3. In small bowl, mix well milk and cheese. Pour over linguini mixture and over low heat toss until cheese melts. Add salt ; serve immediately.
  • Step 4
    Note: If desired, 1 3/4 cups cooked broccoli can be substituted. Enjoy!
