  • 5 clove
  • 10 lb
    roma tomatoes
  • 2 lb
    squash, fresh
  • 2 lb
  • 6 sprig(s)
    oregano, fresh
  • 10 stalk(s)
    basil, fresh
  • 3 dash(es)
    salt and pepper
  • 4 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 pkg
    spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried italian seasoning

How to Make Moni's Spaggie Sauce


  1. Clean and wash all veggies. cut stem ends off & pull leaves off the stalks then just rough cut them up. Put in large pot.
  2. Add water 1/2 cup & olive oil. seasoning go on top of it all. Simmer for about a an hour stirring.You may need to add more seasoning. When it starts falling a part, turn down.
  3. Get you pole blender and blend all ingredients in the pot at once until smooth like spaghetti sauce. I use to grated the squash and zucchini up but now I just purée everything together.
