Ingredients

1 Tbsp
butter
1 c
onion, minced
1 - 10 oz
frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 - 15 oz
container ricotta cheese
2 large
eggs
3/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1/4 tsp
nutmeg
3/8 c
parmesan cheese
1
baked 9 inch pie shell

How to Make Italian Spinach Ricotta Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  • 2Drain spinach and sqeeze well.
    Melt butter and saute onion until soft.
    Add spinach and stir until most of the moisture is gone.
    Remove from heat.
  • 3In a large bowl, add all the other ingredients to the spinach mixture and stir until the mixture looks like green and white marble.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
  • 4Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is set.
