Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup onion, minced
- 1 - 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 - 15 ounces container ricotta cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/8 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 - baked 9 inch pie shell
How To Make italian spinach ricotta pie

Step 1Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Step 2Drain spinach and sqeeze well. Melt butter and saute onion until soft. Add spinach and stir until most of the moisture is gone. Remove from heat.

Step 3In a large bowl, add all the other ingredients to the spinach mixture and stir until the mixture looks like green and white marble. Pour into baked pie shell.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is set.
