Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 - onion
- 5 cloves garlic
- 4 - 28 oz - cans of crushed tomatoes
- 1 can water
- 3 - bay leaves
- 1/2 cup basil, fresh
- 1 tablespoon oregano, fresh
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- - garlic powder, onion powder,salt and pepper
How To Make homemade marinara sauce

Step 1Heat oil in large dutch oven. Add onions and salt so that onions don't burn. Cook until the onions are soft. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Step 2Pour in tomatoes, 1 can of water, and herbs. Cook for 30 minutes.

Step 3Season with salt, pepper,sugar, garlic and onion powders.
