How to Make Grilled 12 Grain French Bread, Sundried Tomatos, Onions, Peppers and Italian Sausage Sandwhiches

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all sauce ingredients into large saucepan. Bring just to the boil, then turn down and simmer for 20 minutes. Be sure to stir well and often.
  2. Grill sausages. When done, put in large saucepan full of spaghetti sauce or your choice.
  3. Grill The vegetables according to ingredients list.
Cut the vegetables into thin strips. Set aside until making sandwiches.
  4. Cut two long loaves of French bread lengthwise in half. Cut the half loaves the size of sausages. Butter the bread. Sprinkle with garlic powder.

Put the bread on the grill and cook until desired look (check my photos).
  5. Assemble the sandwiches by putting a sausage and some sauce on grilled garlic bread. Top with grilled veggies. Serve as is or with a salad of choice.
