A very easy and healthy soup for those cold nights. Serve w/ fresh Italian bread for a full meal,yum!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey sausage, sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 - onion, diced
  • 1 - 28 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 - 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cups lower-sodium chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup elbow macaroni
  • 3/4 cup reduced-fat, shredded mozzarella cheese.

How To Make easy, healthy italian soup

  • Step 1
    Spray a soup ot w/ cooking spray. Place over medium heat. Add sausages and saute until browned. Add pepper and onions.
  • Step 2
    Saute until veggies are tender. Add remaining ingredients, except macaroni. Bring to a boil. Add macaroni and cook until pasta is done.
  • Step 3
    Serve in bowls, sprinkled w/ the cheese.
