easy baked macaroni & cheese

I made this for my nephews and they are usually picky eaters; but they loved this!!! My first mistake with this is, I forgot to cool the macaroni before adding it to the rest of the mixture, but it gave it a yummy texture, so if you forget dont worry! It will turn out! Green onions are a must! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 16 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and cooled
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 - sleeve of ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make easy baked macaroni & cheese

  • Step 1
    Mix together all ingredients except crackers and butter; transfer to an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix cracker crumbs and melted butter together and sprinkle on top.
  • Step 3
    Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 15 min, until cheese is melted.
  • Step 4
    Uncover and bake for another 15min., until golden brown. Great with salad and rolls.
