Dried Sausage Casserole with Buttered Croûtons
12 ozsmoked dried italian sausage, sliced
1/2 ctomato juice may be add ,if desired
11 ozcan condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 cpeas, thawed
1/2 cdry macaroni,amount before cooked
1 Tbspminced dried onion
1/2 tspdried sage, crushed
1 tspitalian seasoning
topping:1 cup onion/garlic croûtons and 4 tablespoons butter
How to Make Dried Sausage Casserole with Buttered Croûtons
- Combine flour and milk in a large saucepan or skillet. Add sausage,tomato juice, soup, peas, cooked macaroni, onion, sage and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
Pour into large foil lined buttered or sprayed casserole dish or pan. Let set over night in refrigerator. Next day....
- Bake uncovered in 350^ oven for 30 minutes.
Combine melted butter and croûtons and mix together until croûtons are well coated with the butter.
Top casserole with butter croûtons and bake for 5 minutes more.
