How to Make Ceci (chickpea) Delight
- 1Heat Pastene Pure Olive Oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- 2When hot, saute onion and garlic until golden.
- 3Add Pastene Italian tomatoes and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- 4Add Pastene Chick Peas and continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes longer. They don't mention draining the liquid, so I would add that also.
- 5Season with salt and pepper. Best served hot.
