Ingredients

  • 1/2 - loaf of french or italian bread (sliced lengthwise)
  • 14 ounces can artichoke hearts, drained & rinsed
  • 2-3 ounces fresh baby bella sliced mushrooms
  • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1-2 teaspoon mrs dash italian medley (or any italian seasoning)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground flaxseed (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

How To Make artichoke mushroom french bread pizza

  • Step 1
    Place bread on a foil lined lightly greased pan. Lightly spread either butter or olive oil on the bread and sprinkle with either garlic powder or McCormick's Garlic Bread Sprinkles. Place under broiler for 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place artichoke pieces fan-side up on the toasted bread. Spread mushrooms on top of artichoke pieces. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Cover entirely with the Parmesan. If desired, sprinkle on ground flax.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 13-15 minutes, remove from oven and cover with Monterey Jack cheese. Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted. Remove from oven, cut into 4 pieces and enjoy!
