caramel crusted french toast

I love french toast... nothing quite as comfortable if you ask me. Normally I will just sprinkle a little sugar/cinnamon on it but I saw an ad for Panko on tv and they showed this picture of French Toast that had been coated with the panko before pan frying to give it that extra "crunch". It looked so tasty that I just had to try it. I didn't have any Panko handy but what I did have was a box of FiberOne Caramel Delight cereal, so I crushed some up and used it as the coating for my french toast and OMG it was fantastic. It was sweet, crunchy, and didn't even need added sugar or syrup. It also added a lot of fiber to the dish. I hope you enjoy it!
