who you calling a shrimp?
I wish I had a story to go along with this dish, but sadly I don’t. This is just one of those recipes that starts out in my mind, and then I cross my fingers, and hope for the best. I did these on my baby…” yes I call my BBQ my baby “ ha ha ha. If you like flavors with a kick, please try the chili garlic sauce…you won’t be disappointed!

Ingredients
- - 2 pounds jumbo shrimp “cleaned and deveined”
- - 1 – 12 can frozen orange juice
- - 3 tablespoons turbinado sugar
- - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- - 4 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
How To Make who you calling a shrimp?
-
Step 1Pour the orange juice into a medium sauce pot, simmer the juice till it is defrosted.
-
Step 2Once the juice starts to simmer “ you don’t want this to boil” add the sugar.
-
Step 3Then add the soy sauce.
-
Step 4And finally add the chili sauce.
-
Step 5Simmer this till the sugar has dissolved. Once it has, turn off the heat and let this cool down completely.
-
Step 6Soak the skewers in water.
-
Step 7Skewer the shrimp on “two skewers each “ this keeps the shrimp from turning around.
-
Step 8Pour the orange juice over the shrimp and marinade for at least 1 hour.
-
Step 9When you are ready to cook these once you have them either on the BBQ or how ever you intend to cook them, pour the remaining marinade over the shrimp.
-
Step 10Cook these “depending on the size “ for about 6 minute per side. They should be firm to the touch.
