Ingredients
- LEMON DIJON CREAM SAUCE
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon cold butter
- salt and pepper
- TUNA
- 2 ahi tuna steaks
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- chopped chives, to garnish
How To Make tuna steak with lemon dijon cream sauce

Step 1For the cream sauce, dd the lemon juice, Dijon mustard and capers to a sauce pan. Cook 2 minutes. Add the heavy cream and bring to a low boil and cook 3 minutes. Whisk in the butter and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Step 2Season the Tuna with salt and pepper. Add the butter to a cast iron pan. Sear the tuna in the butter for 3 minutes per side.

Step 3Plate the sauce on on plate, slice the tuna and place on the sauce. Garnish with chives.
