tuna noodle casserole

This is one of my husbands favorite comfort foods from his childhood that I have adapted to fit our families tastes.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces wide egg noodles
  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom
  • 1 can (soup can) heavy cream
  • 4 slices american cheese slices
  • 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make tuna noodle casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook egg noodles as directed adding 1 Tablespoon salt to boiling water. Combine tuna, soup, and sesoning in saucepan; bring to a boil stirring frequently, lower to a simmer and add heavy cream; DO NOT BOIL. Drain noodles mix with soup mixture and cover with cheese slices. Salt and pepper to taste. Place in warm oven until cheese is melted.
