This is one of my husbands favorite comfort foods from his childhood that I have adapted to fit our families tastes.

  • 12 oz
    wide egg noodles
  • 2 can(s)
    tuna, drained
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of mushroom
  • 1 can(s)
    (soup can) heavy cream
  • 4 slice
    american cheese slices
  • 1 tsp
    adobo seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Tuna Noodle Casserole


  1. Cook egg noodles as directed adding 1 Tablespoon salt to boiling water. Combine tuna, soup, and sesoning in saucepan; bring to a boil stirring frequently, lower to a simmer and add heavy cream; DO NOT BOIL. Drain noodles mix with soup mixture and cover with cheese slices. Salt and pepper to taste. Place in warm oven until cheese is melted.
