Ingredients
- 1 can tomato puree large can
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cans tuna (packed in water)
- 1 can peas
- 2 tablespoons romano cheese
- 3/4 pound whole wheat thin spaghetti
- 4 cups water to boil pasta
How To Make tuna and peas with whole wheat spagetti

Step 1Put olive oil in pot. Brown the onion and garlic

Step 2Add the tomato puree and let it cook for about 30 minutes

Step 3Add the wine and then the sugar. Simmer another 30 minutes

Step 4Break the tuna apart and add to tomato sauce

Step 5Add the peas and cheese, simmer for another 15 minutes.

Step 6Boil water for pasta. Add salt and pasta. Cook pasta for about 10 minutes

Step 7Drain pasta, put sauce over the pasta and serve

Step 8Add more grated Romano cheese to taste
