Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pound lg shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup heinz ketchup
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 3 - scallions, thinly sliced

How To Make sweet-n-spicy stir-fry shrimp

  • Step 1
    In lg bowl, toss together shrimp, garlic, ginger, crushed red pepper, egg white and 1 tsp cornstarch until well coated.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl, whisk together ketchup, broth, sugar, salt & pepper. Add remaining cornstarch. Whisk well. In a wok or lg skillet, heat oil until hot.
  • Step 3
    Add shrimp mix and stir-fry over high heat until shrimp is pink. Stir in ketchup mix and simmer, stirring for 2 mins. Stir in scallions and serve.
