    lg shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 3 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1 large
    egg white
  • 2 tsp
  • 3/4 c
    heinz ketchup
  • 1/2 c
    low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1-1/2 tsp
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 3
    scallions, thinly sliced

How to Make Sweet-n-spicy stir-fry shrimp


  1. In lg bowl, toss together shrimp, garlic, ginger, crushed red pepper, egg white and 1 tsp cornstarch until well coated.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together ketchup, broth, sugar, salt & pepper. Add remaining cornstarch. Whisk well. In a wok or lg skillet, heat oil until hot.
  3. Add shrimp mix and stir-fry over high heat until shrimp is pink. Stir in ketchup mix and simmer, stirring for 2 mins. Stir in scallions and serve.
