Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber
- 4 tablespoons yogurt (regular or greek)
- 1 tablespoon chopped dill
- 4 smoked trout fillets
- salt and pepper
- dill sprigs for garnishing
How To Make smoked trout with yogurt dill cucumber sauce

Step 1Peel the cucumber and slice in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds and dice.

Step 2If you prefer to draw the liquid from the cucumbers, place the diced cucumbers in a sieve (over a bowl) and sprinkle with salt. Rinse, drain, and dry thoroughly.

Step 3Combine the cucumber with the yogurt, chopped dill and freshly ground black pepper. Chill the cucumber/yogurt mixture.

Step 4Arrange the trout fillets on plates and spoon the cucumber mixture on one side. Add additional black pepper. Garnish with a dill sprig and serve.
