Ingredients
- 1 - large onion chopped
- 2 stalks chopped celery
- 1 package frozen okra (10 oz a bit more if you like)
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
- 1 cup water
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, cleaned and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic chopped very fine or pressed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
How To Make shrimp carlatta

Step 1add all ingredients into pot and simmer for a few hours. The longer the better @ 4

Step 2add shrimp before serving and cook until shrimp has turned pink

Step 3serve with rice
