I think the "Idahoan" Applewood Smoked Bacon Flavored Mashed Potatoes gives this recipe the "TAH-DAH"!! My husband does not like salamon at all, but loves this recipe. If you have some fresh-ripe tomatoes to go along with it, you have a wonderful meal! De-LISH!!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.75) oz. red salmon, drained and flaked
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1/2 cup garlic & herb seasoned dry crumbs
  • 1/2 cup dry potato flakes ( i use the "idahoan" applewood smoked bacon flavored mashed potatoes.)
  • 1 medium onion (white)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • - salt & pepper to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How To Make sherry's salmon patties

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, mix everything except the olive oil.
  • Step 2
    Form the mixture into 2 inch balls, and flatten into patties about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Step 3
    Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties about 5 minutes on each side, until lightly brown. Delicious!!
