This is my Mom's recipe for Salmon Loaf. We ate it frequently when I was a little girl. Alaskan canned salmon used to be cheap. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. We loved it and it was an economical dish.

Ingredients

1/2 c
mayonnaise
4
eggs
1/2 c
milk
3 slice
bread
2 can(s)
alaskan red salmon

How to Make Salmon Loaf

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 300 to 325 degree

    Tear bread into small pieces.
  • 2Beat together throughly eggs, mayonnaise, and milk. Add to bread pieces and allow to soak.
  • 3Flake salmon, removing bones if desired. Add to bread mixture and combine.
  • 4Place in well greased loaf pan.
  • 5Bake at 300 to 325 degrees 1- 1 1/4 hours till knife inserted comees out clean. Allow to cool 10 minutes. Invert onto platter and serve.
