This is my Mom's recipe for Salmon Loaf. We ate it frequently when I was a little girl. Alaskan canned salmon used to be cheap. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. We loved it and it was an economical dish.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 slices bread
  • 2 cans alaskan red salmon

How To Make salmon loaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 300 to 325 degree Tear bread into small pieces.
  • Step 2
    Beat together throughly eggs, mayonnaise, and milk. Add to bread pieces and allow to soak.
  • Step 3
    Flake salmon, removing bones if desired. Add to bread mixture and combine.
  • Step 4
    Place in well greased loaf pan.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 300 to 325 degrees 1- 1 1/4 hours till knife inserted comees out clean. Allow to cool 10 minutes. Invert onto platter and serve.
