salmon burgers

I found canned salmon at the store today and decided to create a quick salmon burger recipe. It doesn't get any easier than this!

Ingredients

  • 1 can pink salmon - separated
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs - italian style
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

How To Make salmon burgers

  • Step 1
    drain and separate the salmon from the bones/skin. Most canned salmon has small bones and skin which are edible, but I don't like them.
  • Step 2
    sprinkle with enough bread crumbs to cover, about 1/2 cup.
  • Step 3
    add 2 eggs and mix thoroughly with your hands until it forms a ball.
  • Step 4
    add garlic salt and mix again.
  • Step 5
    form into patties.
  • Step 6
    cook in a pan on medium heat in a little olive oil until the outside is brown and lightly crispy.
