My husband said for me not to ever loose this recipe, "Its a keeper" You can adapt to any mild flavered filet, increase amts to per servings

1 filet
red snapper, redfish or tilapia
egg, beaten for drenching
1 c
milk, 2%, mix well with egg in bowl
1 c
flour ( dry ingred in qt or gal size baggie)
1/2 tsp
italian seasoning or seafood seasoning
1 dash(es)
salt and pepper
1 pkg
panko bread crumbs
1 Tbsp
evo or spray pay with oil

How to Make Red snapper, baked with taste of fried for 2


  • 1Rinse fish under clear water, pat dry. Add seasonings to flour in a quart baggie, then coat fish in quart size baggie
  • 2dip coated fish in egg and milk wash, then redip in seasoned flour baggie
  • 3in panko japanese bread crumbs ( one filet per 1/2 pkg) coat the floured fish filets.
  • 4place in oiled sprayed tin foil lined pan and bake til fork shows white firm fish. Approx 10 mins at 350, preheated toaster or conventional oven
  • 5serves well with brown rice and 3 bean salad for taste and texture contrasts.
  • 6May use same technique for shrimp
