Ingredients

  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 - 10 oz pkg frozen corn
  • 1 - 9 oz pkg frozen peas
  • 2 pounds catfish, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1-1/2 cup dried instant mashed potatoes

How To Make quick and simple new england chowda

  • Step 1
    In a lg pot over med-high heat, combine all ingredients except potato flakes. Bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Reduce heat to low. Simmer 10 mins. Stir in potato flakes. Simmer 5 mins, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
