peach bbq sauce for salmon

Record breaking heat again today! Going to grill some salmon. This makes enough for a small army (well, a 10 lb fillet) Our family likes to eat salmon this way!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 - red onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar splenda, firmly packed (1/4 c brown sugar and 1/4 c splenda
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 cup peach jam (i use smuckers simply fruit yummm)
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 10 pounds salmon fillet (or 2 pieces for bob and i)

How To Make peach bbq sauce for salmon

  • Step 1
    Grill inside (for winter) or outside
  • Step 2
    Combine all ingredients for sauce in a large sauce pan.
  • Step 3
    Bring to a boil and reduce heat, simmer for 1/2 hr or till slightly thickened.
  • Step 4
    Brush fish generously for BBQ, repeat several times.
  • Step 5
    Pass extra for serving. Our little ones like this fish too!
